Icons Of Youngstown Shoot

Posted by Alexa on

October 6, 2017 was our storefront grand opening day. A day full of excitement and eagerness to serve the community. Who would’ve know Grey would be taking off the way it is. The support of the community has been something both surprising and refreshing, and because of your support we were able to be apart of an amazing publication being brought to Youngstown.

Icons of Youngstown serves as a platform to highlight brands and businesses of the area. A publication full of local business owners striving to make the community better and bring local small businesses together. Only a select few are chosen to be in this publication, and we were one of those select few.
The morning of January 23rd started off with a blow out done by Veronica Dorbish. You can book with her at Dee’s Luxe Beauty Spot. After hair came makeup by Olivia (one of our Grey Beauties and amazing freelance makeup artist). Olivia was able to create a glam look that still allowed Amy’s natural beauty to be captured on camera. She’s working to build her portfolio so book with her, and you won’t be disappointed.
Next came photo shoot time! The Icons of Youngstown crew came in prepared and ready to shoot. With an amazing photographer on hand the shoot seemed effortless.  They knew exactly what they wanted to capture and within 20 minutes it was a wrap.
Icons of Youngstown will be distributed to local doctors offices, country clubs, restaurants, and of course we will have a copy at the boutique. Thank you once again to the Icons of Youngstown team, Veronica of Dee’s Luxe Beauty Spot, Olivia, and Alexa for capturing behind the scenes pictures, and having a fun photoshoot after wrapping up.
“We are exciting about networking and partnering with other business owners. We like to support everyone who follows their dreams. I have been able to build great relationships with Orange Avocado, Thermae Retreat, Branch Street Coffee, and so many others.” - Amy Abruzere (Owner of Grey Boutique)
